Subscribe to a service

Cloud Services offers a set of services that perform different functions. To see the available services, use the Your F5 Cloud tab in the Cloud Services navigation menu.

This screen provides an overview of your account. It also shows you all available services and indicates which services you have already subscribed to. Follow the following steps to subscribe to a service.

Note

If you have been invited to join F5 Cloud Services, you still need to create an account and subscribe to a service.

  1. Click the Subscribe option for the desired service.
  2. Choose a method of payment:
    • Credit card - You can pay all charges directly with a credit card with this option. Choosing this option will set your payment method to your default credit card. If you don’t have any credit cards in the system, you will be prompted for your credit card information, and this new card will become your default card.
    • Subscribe through AWS Marketplace - This option will take you to AWS Marketplace where you can initiate the subscription.
    • F5 purchase order - If you have an active purchase order with F5, this option will appear to inform you that you can subscribe to other services by contacting your channel partner or administrator. The Yes, subscribe button will therefore not be active.

Once you have successfully subscribed to a service, you will see a confirmation pop-up.

When you have one or more subscribed services, the YOUR SERVICES section will show the status of each of your services. Also, the service card for each subscribed service will now show a Subscribed label in black.

Unsubscribe from a service

The Your F5 Cloud tab in the Cloud Services navigation menu shows all the services available, and your subscribed services are those with a blue left border and show a Subscribed label in black. If you subscribed with a credit card or through AWS, you will see an Unsubscribe option in the card. You will not see Unsubscribe option if you are subscribed through a purchase order because the service is contractually subscribed through the term of the purchase order.

To unsubscribe from a service, click the Unsubscribe option on the service card. If your service was created through AWS Marketplace, you will be redirected to AWS Marketplace to unsubscribe. Otherwise, you will be shown a confirmation pop-up with allowing you to unsubscribe.

Warning

The setup for some services requires changes that must be undone before suspending, retiring, or unsubscribing from a service. Be sure to read the confirmation pop-up and review the service documentation to understand any requirements prior to stopping a service.
